Kenosis is a Art School where we teach what you want to learn and we are based in the Vaal Triange, Vanderbijlpark and in Cape Town. The teachers helps with any questions you might have and gives constant advise. When you begin, we start at the basics in whichever medium you prefer! If you want to do oil painting, we do oil etc... , you will have class once a week for 2 and a half hours but you can book more classes if you wish to do so. You choose either morning, afternoon or evening classes. With your first class, you will be assessed by one of the teachers and then take it further from there. While we encourage our students to search for and develop their own unique style, the importance of understanding the fundamentals of painting and drawing remain crucial to any successful artwork. For this reason we include exercises throughout your time here to help you understand the basic elements of artmaking and encourage you to continuously practice new techniques at home and so hone your skills. We strive to create an environment and atmosphere where you will feel comfortable and relaxed. It is a great place to just come, relax, meet new people and persue the artist in you! You don’t need to bring anything for your first lesson, just bring yourself! The teachers at Kenosis will help you to evaluate yourself, so that you can discover precisely what you are good at and what you want to do. If you are an experienced artist or has done some artwork before, it will be advisable to bring some of your artwork when you come for the first time. It will help us to see where to start with your lessons.
