Digital photography, presented by a Professional photographer and Lecturer. The aim
of the course is to provide you with the knowledge and skills required for a career
as a professional photographer or as a keen hobbyist. This is an up-to-date and comprehensive
course covering almost every aspect of photography. Anyone is more than welcome to
join... Some of the topics that will be covered:
- How to operate your digital camera using ALL MANUAL SETTINGS
- Understanding & controlling different Lighting situations
- Understanding Depth of Field of Focus, and how to control and maximise this.
- Your camera set up – the various modes & buttons
- How to control and get perfect Exposures every time without fail.
- A full understanding and control of Aperture, Shutter speed, White balance & more
- Weekly assignments and feedback will help with student progress

Yes its true! Kenosis have started its own Photo Club in the Vaal Triangle, and anyone
is welcome!!! Kenosis photo-club is unique, laid back, relaxed and a great place
to meet new friends and talk about your favourite subject, PHOTOGRAPHY!!! We meet
once a month on a Tuesday in the evening at Kenosis Art School in Vanderbijlpark
and we discuss different topics in photography, give feedback and show-off our great
photography skills. Our philosophy in life is that anyone can learn from anybody,
and that includes everyone. If you are a professional photographer or just a keen
hobbyist, you will enjoy and learn at every event. We will organize events like road-trips
and photo-shoots that will make other photographers and you friends jealous! For

Kenosis offers a 6 weeks course in Photoshop 4 times per annum in Vanderbijlpark in the Vaal Triangle.
This is a basic/intermediate Photoshop course. Photoshop software will be provided
only for the duration of the course. Topics to be covered, but not limited to, include
the following:
- Understanding the basic features of Photoshop, including cropping, image resolution etc
- Controlling saturation, exposure and brightness using Photoshop levels and curves
- Using layers
- Cloning, healing and other correction tools
- Creative editing techniques
